The boy has his mother's looks and his father's brains
The boy came home and started talking to his father. “Dad, do you believe in heredity?”
The father replied, “Of course I do, son. You’ve inherited certain physical and mental abilities.”
The son replied, “So I take after you and Mom, then?”
The father, with pardonable pride, continued “Yes, that’s right. You got your looks from your Mother, but your brains from your Father.”
The son brought out his graded paper and said, “Wow, Dad, aren’t you ashamed of this ‘F” that I got?”
