Hey everybody welcome to Newsbusted.  I’m Jodie Miller, let’s get started.

• Despite heavy lobbying from President Obama, the city of Chicago lost out on hosting the 2016 Summer Olympic Games.  Soon after, the White House issued this statement: It’s all Glen Beck’s fault!
• Many Chicago residents are happy their city didn’t get the 2016 Olympics.  They figure that anything that President Obama was that excited about had to be expensive and unpopular.
• In financial news, last week the Dow Jones industrial average reported it’s largest decline in the last several months, and as usual the liberal press reported this as great news for Obama, since it could have declined even more.
• Democratic Party fund raiser Norman Hsu has been sentenced to 24 years in prison, or, as the New York Times headline read, “Democrats meet fund raising goals”
• David Letterman has admitted to having extramarital affairs with female co-workers.  Insiders say Letterman was so busy having sex with his staff he barely had time to write sex jokes about Sarah Palin’s children.
• Speaking of David Letterman, his marital infidelities came to light after a disgruntled worker at CBS News attempted to blackmail Letterman for 2 million dollars.  Shame on you, Dan Rather.
• Whoopi Goldberg said that film director Roman Polanski’s statutory rape of a 13 year old girl was not a case of “rape rape.” Now does that make Whoopi just an idiot, or an “idiot idiot”?
• And finally, actress Hillary Duff just celebrated her 22nd birthday.  You know what that means—she’s officially 9 years too old for Roman Polanski.
