Practice makes perfect?

This could almost be depressing ... if it wasn't true.

Our team was in last place in our rural town’s sandlot league. But at least our team had a lot of spirit and kept trying to win a game, any game. Our coach made us practice evey morning and afternoon.

One week, we couldn’t get any team to ‘practice’ with us, so the coach set us up with a pitching machine.

Unfortunately, it beat us 4-1.
