The boyfriend buys an expensive locket
There's true love, and then there's romance, and then there's being practical
A young man was purchasing an expensive locket for his girlfriend at an uptrend jewelry store. The jeweler asked, “Do you want your girlfriend’s name engraved on it?”
The boyfriend thought for a moment and replied, “No, instead engrave ‘To my one and only love’.”
The jeweler smiled and said, “Yes, sir; very romantic of you.”
The boyfriend smiled back and said, “Not romantic, practical. This way, if we break up, I can use it again.”
